A meeting of world wide appeal, and oenological interest not to be missed, Vinitaly 2017 – 51st edition of the International Wine and Spirits Fair, will return in the enchanting city of Verona from Sunday 9 to Wednesday, April 12, 2017.
First exhibition in the world for size, Vinitaly 1967 is an essential event for the wine industry, always open to innovations, accompanying the development of an industry that has become the best ambassador of the “Made in Italy” in the world, the representative of the food quality system excellence. For the 51st edition, Vinitaly will present itself as the world we love: wine first of all, but also the quality, land, the environment and its protection, men and their challenges, villages and their history… Vinitaly is all this: the place where every year people who love this world meets.
With 156 thousand visitors, nearly 4,200 exhibitors, and an exhibition area of more than 94 thousand square meters, Vinitaly is the only direct exposure to the entire class of producers, importers, distributors, caterers, technicians, journalists, opinion leaders, offering a series traditional appointments alongside several innovative events that will involve operators around the world.
Vinitaly and the City 2017
After the success of 2016, with over 29,000 visitors, the event most eagerly awaited by wine lovers is back in downtown Verona. From Friday 7 to Tuesday, April 11, 2017 will take place Vinitaly and the City, the show organized by VeronaFiere in collaboration with the City of Verona in order to diversify the offer addressed to professionals attending the fair, from that designed for young wine fans.
Verona and its province for five days is so painted with the purple color of Vinitaly: not only quality wine & food, but also music, literature, poetry, performances and meetings with important guests, that until midnight will narrate the wine and his whole world through art, fashion, design, architecture and journalism.
From 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.
From Sunday to Tuesday, entry is allowed until 5:00 pm; Wednesday, entry is allowed until 4:00 pm.
ENTRANCE IS FOR PAY
Entrance is for pay, and for members of the wine industry only. Registration is mandatory. Entrance is not permitted for people under 18 years.
