The Venice Carnival turns 300 years old.
If you are staying in our Residence or intend to do so, we cannot fail to offer you one of the most spectacular activities of the year: the Carnival.
We propose the Venice Carnival first in terms of size and relevance: this year’s theme will be “Casanova’s time”.
The first evening will begin on February 14th at 6.30pm in Piazza San Marco, there will be a show focused on Casanova and various types of dance.
The inevitable Water Procession will be held on February 16th.
The allegorical floats and parades will be held on the two weekends of February 15-16, February 23-24 and then on 27-28
February and finally from 1 to 4 March 2025.
If, however, you want to stay in the surrounding area, a few km from our Residence, we offer you the very fun Alpone Carnival in Monteforte d’Alpone. From February 28th to Tuesday March 4th.
The parade of floats will end in front of the Church where the judges will vote on the floats exhibited, everything will be accompanied by food stands, rides for children and music in short…. Don’t get bored!
Finally we propose the Lonigo Carnival 4km from our Residence: suitable for all adults and children it will be held on Sunday 23/02 at 1.30pm, like every year the parade will start at 1.30pm from Piazza XXV Aprile and then continue to Piazza Garibaldi where it will end.
There will be food stands, entertainment for children and lots of music.
Dressing up in costume is not obligatory but having fun certainly is… because at Carnival every joke is worth it!
